As a member of NALED Managing Board, he firmly supports the organization’s development with strategic guidelines and mentor support in cooperation with the Executive Office. He leads a company that has been a member NALED since 2012, a pioneer of Fair Competition Alliance, and a strongly engaged member of the Food and Agriculture and Environment Protection alliances. A man of Balkan sensibility, he listens closely to the needs of members from rural areas, such as Surdulica and Bela Palanka, always wiling to support their projects. He pays special attention to youth programs, cultural heritage and environment preservation – the latter, he says, being the main reason he engages in NALED. Favorite among colleagues in his team and NALED for his managerial skills, leadership vision and understanding for others. Genuine and straightforward, always available and authentic. Sponsor of summer gatherings on multiple occasions, he is also there to freshen up the days for NALED guests and employees with clear Vlasina water.

As a Managing Board member, with his authority and contacts he has contributed to strengthening cooperation with local governments, expanding NALED membership and promoting the organization’s activities. He has demonstrated exceptional responsibility and willingness to engage on fostering NALED image through initiatives for the common good. As one of the pioneers of the “Art of Serbia” campaign, he helped in making Šid recognizable by its great names of art, such as Sava Šumanović and Ilija Bašičević Bosilj. As one of the first signatories of the declaration on bee protection, he also personally engaged as an advocate of NALED’s crowdfunding platform, aiming to foster cooperation with a border community in ensuring funds to support local initiatives. Working with the Executive Office, he acts with utmost responsibility and as a patron, striving to provide full support for successful realization of initiatives he takes part in. Approachable, reliable and always there for NALED.

As a member of NALED’s first Managing Board and a current member of Advisory Board, he has provided continuous support to our organization’s development and strength, through 15 years of Smart kolektiv’s membership in NALED. He heads the organization recognized as a leader in the field of socially responsible work, sustainable economy and social entrepreneurship. Cooperation between NALED and Smart kolektiv has led to development of the first corporate social responsibility standard and a Draft Law on social entrepreneurship. During the COVID-19 pandemic, we advocated together for abolishing VAT on food donations and improving donation conditions. He easily builds partnership with NALED members from all sectors, thanks to his outstanding leadership, mentorship and social marketing skills. Widely recognizable and favourite among colleagues as he approaches all tasks and challenges with enthusiasm and motivating humour. With movie star charm and a talent for public appearance, he traditionally holds the role of the host of NALED’s September Gathering.
